The Doggy Ramblers are serving the dogs and families of our local Killingworth and surrounding area, providing the best care for your pets.
Our love for dogs, nature and hiking gave birth to The Doggy Ramblers! It is spending time on adventures with our own dogs that has inspired us to spread the love and excitement.
David and I hold many years of dog ownership and several years of working within the pet industry. We're offering the same services to you so let your pets join our adventures.
We have a true passion and love for animals, so you can be reassured that your dog is treated as one of the Doggy Ramblers Family when out with us!

We know that when you live a busy life, it is hard to consistently provide the attention and care that your pets can demand. You can rely on us to care of your pets whilst you go about your day (work, shopping or school runs, etc.)
You can rest assured that your dog will be loved and cared!
Your dog is in safe hands:
- We are DBS certified and hold a public liability insurance.
- We are CPD accredited in CPR and Dog First aid
Our van is fitted with:
- safety crates that have escape doors as well as removable divides for the larger dogs,
- an electric ventilation system that does not just circulate air around but also extracts the warm air on those hot summer days,
- first aid kits,
so you know your best friend is in good hands.

We always meet potential new owners and their pets before we take them on a walk or provide a service. On Meet and Greets, we discuss your pets needs, likes and dislikes and any other information that you feel is necessary for us to know in order to provide the best quality care your pet.
Your pets happiness and care is our priority and we strive to provide a service we would want our own pets to receive.

Dog walker and co-owner of The Doggy Ramblers! Running a full time Dog walking and Pet service business has always been a dream of mine. When I was growing up, my parents were living a mini version of the Good Life. I was surrounded by all types of animals from goats, sheep, chickens to dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs so it was inevitable that I developed an obsession for them.
I didn't have to think twice, when given the chance to leave my 9-5 office to pursue my passion of starting the Doggy Ramblers.
It is an amazing feeling when we safely deliver a tired and content dog back home at the end of a walk. Walking and caring for your animals is what I love the most in my job!
I am also the group photographer!
I will make sure you get regular updates of our walks by text or WhatsApp with pictures that show what your best friend has been up to.
Additionally, if you follow us on The Doggy Ramblers Facebook page or Instagram, you can see pictures of our adventures and feel part of your dogs adventure.
I will undertake regular training and research in the pet industry in order to make sure that the Doggy Ramblers are at the top of the industry as far as quality service provided to you and your dog.

Dog walker and co-owner of The Doggy Ramblers! But most importantly, I am what you would call the chief entertainer and route planner.
Living in the North East we have been absolutely spoiled for amazing location and walks, exploring Northumberland, down through County Durham and the North Pennine area. I will find the most amazing locations in the countryside, woodlands, beaches or even local community parks and plan a safe yet entertaining walk around it. Always keeping in mind the importance of providing varied, mentally and physically stimulating exercise for your dog.
I will make sure that playtime and socialisation is part of your dogs walk. I always carry an array of toys in my backpack for mental stimulation and fun for the dogs. Playtime is just as important as walking and will give your dog the required socialisation with humans and other dogs.

Our two Border Collies Ory and Rudy run the show and are the brainchild behind the Doggy Ramblers! Ory and Rudy are at the centre of all decisions we take.
They are both reactive dogs and therefore regular exercise and mental stimulation are both essential to their well-being.
We are always looking for new ways (research and studies) to meet their needs and offer them a varied, yet safe environment in which to thrive.
Both Ory and Rudy are in charge of quality control! They test everything before release from walks, treats, crates, toys and cuddles. Nothing goes live without their seal of approval!
You can rest assured that your dog will be equally loved, looked after and cared for as if he/she were our own.

Ideal for dogs that are well socialised and enjoy to play with other dogs.
Your dog will be out with us for a minimum of 1 hour in the company of another 4 dogs maximum.
We will exercise your dog, play and a good run in parks, countryside, woodlands or local beaches. Making each walk as varied as possible.
Your dog will be returned towel dried and ready for a nap!

Ideal for the dog that prefers their own company.
Your dog will be out with us for a minimum of 1 hour on a tailored walk for their needs.
We will exercise your dog: plenty of play, general care, basic training (if requested) and of course a good run in local parks, countryside, woodlands or local beaches, making each walk as varied as possible.
Your dog will be returned towel dried and ready for a nap!

Your dog will be out with us and another select few dogs for half a day for a real Doggy Ramblers' Adventure!

Cat visits - play time for your feline baby and plenty of TLC
Small pet visits - Play time, plenty of TLC, water and treats
